About Everlay
Everlay was created by bringing together Hinzen’s knowledge of Chinese customs and spiritual traditions with the care and experience of British funeral directors.
We provide compassionate, personal funeral care for families from both Western and Chinese cultures. Every funeral is shaped around the wishes, beliefs and traditions of the family, whether they require a traditional Western service, a Chinese funeral or a ceremony that brings different customs together.
Everlay and Hinzen — brought together by the same people and shared leadership.

This allows the practical and spiritual elements of a Chinese funeral to be considered together from the very beginning. Families do not have to coordinate separate organisations or repeatedly explain their traditions—we work as one team to create a meaningful and carefully arranged farewell.
Our mission is to make arranging a funeral feel clearer, more personal and less stressful for every family in our care.
For Chinese families, we offer complete funeral arrangements that combine the essential funeral services and religious ceremonies within one carefully coordinated package. Everything is arranged through one trusted team, from the first conversation through to the funeral and beyond.
For families arranging a Western funeral, we provide the same thoughtful guidance and experienced care, creating a service that reflects the life, wishes and individuality of the person being remembered.
By bringing everything together in one place, we give families more time to focus on honouring their loved one and supporting one another.
“A farewell should feel true to the life it honours.”
